Attorney Christopher Stahulak of Metairie, LA; ethical elf

The state of Louisiana presented Christopher Jon Stahulak with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Chris guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Failed to maintain complete records of client trust account funds
  • Failed to preserve for a period of five years after termination of the representation client trust account records
  • Failed to notify a client or third person of receipt of funds bellowing to said persons
  • Failed to promptly deliver to the client or third person any funds or other property that the client or third
  • person is entitled to receive
  • Failed to promptly render a full accounting regarding such property

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Chris.

As we speak (ca. March 2023), Chris practices his so-called brand of law with the Stahulak Law Firm at 143 Metairie Heights Avenue in Metairie, Louisiana
