Judge David Simms of England; ethical dwarf

The Law Society provided David Simms with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from the University of Essex School of Law.

Chief Justice Lord Burnet of Maldon and Lord Chancellor Dominic Raab found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Acted in a rude manner towards a fellow magistrate judge
• Failed to display the level of courtesy and professionalism required of a magistrate

The Lord Chancellor and Lord Chief Justice punished Davey by gifting him by issuing him complimentary formal advice. It’s my understanding that this punishment can be quite painful.

As we speak (ca. March 2023), Dave continues to be employed as a Nottinghamshire Bench Justice of the Peace at the Golden House Chambers, 19 Quay Street in Manchester, United Kingdom.
