Former Judge Don Lymbery of Houston, TX; serial scofflaw

The state of Washington presented Ted Paul Hunter with a law license in 1978 after he graduated Gonzaga University School of Law.

The State Commission on Judicial Conduct found Donnie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Violated the Texas Open Meetings Act
  • Arrested and indicted on violatin of Texas law
  • Knowingly participated in a meeting in of Commissioners Court for the purpose of discussion or deliberation of county business to-wit: namely the prospective employment of a county road engineer
  • Donnie subsequently indicted on 21 new counts of public order crimes

All that remains now is to see how long it takes Donnie to cop a plea to reduce the amount of time he’ll be spending in the local hoosegow.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, Donnie has been suspended from his judicial office “with pay.” Put simply, Donnie is on a taxpayer funded vacation. Who was the comedian in Texas that said, “Crime doesn’t pay!”

As we speak (ca. February 2023), it is rumored that Donnie is contemplating the submission of an application as a doorman at the Vivd Gentlemen’s Club at 2618 Winrock Blvd in Houston in the event he is permanently tossed off the bench.
