Judge Bonnie Rangel of El Paso, TX; imbecilic slacker

The State Commission on Judicial Conduct found Bonnie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to maintain professional competence in the law (imbecile)
• Failed to sign and file with the clerk order of recusal within the mandatory three days to so act
• Failed to act in a manner that promotes public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Bonnie by gifting her with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. February 2023), Bonnie continues to dispense her so-called idea of jurisprudence as a 171^st District Court judge in El Paso, Texas.
