Attorney Alina Nikolaeva British Columbia; ethical troll

The Law Society of British Columbia provided Alina V. Nikolaeva with a law license in 2002 after she graduated from the University of British Columbia School of Law.

The Law Society of British Columbia found Alina guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Improperly used or permitted the use of her firm’s trust account to receive and disburse $466,537.00 USD
  • Failed to provide substantial legal services
  • Failed to make reasonable inquiries about the circumstances of the related transactions, including the source of funds, and the reason for the funds to  go through the trust account
  • Failed to to sufficiently identify and verify the identity of her client

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished Alina by gifting her with a complimentary 2-week suspension of her law license.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Alin fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on her self-serving website at www.granvillelaw.com. Apparently, she decided to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. February 2023), Alina practices her so-called brand of law with the Granville Law Group at 200-835 Granville Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
