Attorney Jon Mains of Fairfax, VA; ethical gremlin

The state of Virginia presented Jon Franklin Mains with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from American University School of Law.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate with his client
• Charged and/or collected an excessive fee (cheater)
• Failed to safeguard client funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia Bar Disciplinary Board punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Johnny’s self-serving website at www.jonmainslaw.com makes no mention of his misconduct as aforementioned. Apparently, he decided to conceal this information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. February 2023), Johnny practices his so-called brand of law with Jon F. Mains & Associates LLC at 3955 Chain Bridge Road in Fairfax, Virginia.
