Judge Christopher Haile of Indianapolis; ethical elf

The state of Indiana presented Christopher Brady Haile with a law license in 1986 after he graduated the University of Indiana School of Law.

The Indiana Commission on Judicial Qualifications found Chris guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide every person with a legal interest in a proceeding the opportunity to be heard (aka, due process)
• Engaged in illegal ex parte (one-sided) communications
• Chris ordered the emergency removal of a child from the mother’s home based on the father’s claim the child had a dental appointment
• Chris ordered law enforcement to take the Shafers’ son from Ms. Shafer without the benefit of hearing her position

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Chrisby gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. February 2023), Chris practices his so-called idea of jurisprudence as a Marion County Superior Court judge in Indianapolis, Indiana.
