Attorney Michael Newcombe of British Columbia, CAN; ethical troll

The Law Society of British Columbia presentedMichael Anthony Newcombe with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the University of Ottawa School of Law.

The Hearing Committee for the Law Society of British Columbia found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Lied to Law Society that no judgment had been rendered against him for the reporting period (Screw you, said Mikey!)
• The Royal Bank of Canada obtained a money judgment for $12,841.63 against Mikey
• The Judgment was registered as a charge against a property that Mikey owned in Osoyoos
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Mikey did not satisfy the Judgment within seven days after the date of entry
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Mikey!)

As a direct result of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the sitting on the Hearing Committee punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2023), Mikey practices his so-called brand of law with Newcombe & Company at 347 Leon Avenue in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.
