Attorney Raphael Baptiste of Granada; moronic slacker

The Law Society of Grenada presented Raphael Baptiste with a law license in 1967 after he graduated from Catholic University School of Law.

The General Legal Counsel found Ralphie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Ralphie!)
  • Failed for over two years to provide the purchasers of property with certified conveyance of the land
  • Failed to act with integrity and dignity
  • Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in conflict of interest by representing the mortgagor and vendor in same transaction
  • Charged and/or collected an unreasonable fee

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the West Indies Associated States Supreme Court punished Ralphie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and ordered that he pay his prior clients (victims) $28,600.00.

 suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September2023), Ralphie practices his so-called brand of law on Main Street in Sauteurs, Granada.
