Attorney Christopher Szeto of New Orleans; ethical troll

The state of Louisiana presented Christopher H. Szeto with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Chris guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Chris filed a frivolous pleading
• Failed to take remedial action despite repeated efforts by the trial court (Up yours, said Chris!)
• Chris was ultimately found to be in constructive contempt of court
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Engaged in conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Chris.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Chris makes no mention of his misconduct as set forth above on his self-serving website at www.goszeto.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal this information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. January 2023), Chris practices his so-called brand of law with The Law Office of Christopher Szeto at 8131 Plum Street in New Orleans, Louisiana.
