Attorney Hester Hilliard of Metairie, LA; ethical misfit

The state of Louisiana presented Hester R. Gloston Hilliard with a law license in 2007 after she graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Hester guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Neglected legal matters entrusted to her
• Failed to communicate with her clients
• Mismanaged her client trust account, resulting in the untimely payment of funds owed to clients and third parties

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Hester by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of her law license.  

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Hester.

As we speak (ca. January 2023), Hester practices her so-called brand of law with the Hilliard Law Firm at 1 Galleria Blvd in Metairie, Louisiana.
