Attorney Robert E. Shea of Columbus, OH; lying scammer
The state of Ohio presented Robert Eric Shea with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from Capitol University Law School.
The Columbus Bar Association Grievance Committee found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.
FYI: Capitol University School of Law is ranked as the 167th best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.
-
Bobby and his partner Masello believed that their former employer was guilty of unethical and unprofessional conduct
-
Upon discoverying that attorneys could be suspended for failing to pay child-support payments
-
Bobby and Masello later discovered that the former employer was often behind in his child-support action
-
After searching a Licking County website , Masello found a child-support action was pending against the former employer
-
Masello then traveled to to the Licking County Child Support Enforcement Agency (“CSEA”) to request a copy of the notice of default filed against the employer for failure to pay child support
-
CSEA attorney Phillip Proctor refused to give Masello a copy, explaining that the notice was confidential
-
Bobby then went to the CSEA to obtain copy of default notice and falsely told Proctor he represented the former employer’s ex-wife in the child support litigation
-
Bobby also lied to Proctor that he knew Masello and the former employer
-
Engaged in conduct involing fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
-
Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
-
Failed to notify his clients that he was not covered by malpractice insurance
-
Bobby acted dishonestly by attempting to mislead Proctor into believing he represented the former employer’s ex-wife
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. December 2022) Bobby practices law his so-called brand of law with the Social Security Administration at 401 North Front Street in Columbus, Ohio.
