Attorney Jeffrey Johnson of New York City; ethical troll

The state of New York presented Jeffrey Dennis Johnson with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Jeff guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Made online comments in response to a former client’s negative online review of Jeff’s representation of him
• In responding, Jeff disparaged the client
• Jeff revealed the nature of his client’s underlying litigation
• Jeff revealed confidential health and medical information about the client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the patrons for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2022), Jeff practices his so-called brand of law with the Law Offices of Jeffrey D. Johnson at 225 Broadway in New York, New York.
