Attorney Edan Pinkas of New York City; ethical goblin

The state of New York presented Edan E. Pinkas with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from the Brooklyn School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Edan guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Assisted suspended attorney in the unauthorized practice of law
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct reflecting adversely on his fitness as a lawyer

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the patrons for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards punished Edan by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2022), Edan practices his so-called brand of law at 767 3^rd Avenue in New York, New York.
