Attorney Eric Nisley of The Dalles, OR; lying loser

The State of Oregon presented Eric J. Nisley with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Williamette University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Eric guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while Eric was employed as the Wasco County District Attorney

  • Made false statements in connection with disciplinary investigation (Screw you, said Eric!)
  • Initiated investigation of County employee as retaliation involving prior dispute
  • Eric knew for a fact that his statements to ethics investigators were false and material to the ongoing ethics investigation into whether his conduct constituted a conflict of interest
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Misconduct involved selfish motive

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Eric by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2022), Eric practices his brand of law with the Wasco County District Attorney's Office at 511 Washington Street in The Dalles, Oregon.
