The sate of Kansas presented Robert Emil Wonder with a law license in 1984
The Kansas Board for Discipline of Attorneys found Robert guilty of the following misconduct.
While preparing a will for a friend, Bob included himself as a co-executor of the will. When the friend died unexpectedly he prepared various papers with the probate court to have will probated.
Subsequently, he met privately with the probate judge and during that meeting he lied to the judge and in his moving papers by falsely claiming that Ms. Gayla Dowling was named as an executor on the will.
Bob’s Hyperbolic (BS) Defenses
Bobby had the chutzpah to defend his misconduct by claiming he had significant personal problems. He also claimed he suffered from some (undisclosed) health problems, the loss of a friend, the loss of his mother and father, and the loss of his father-in-law.
As expected the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court bought into Bobby’s irrelevant claims by crediting him with mitigation for the BS he spewed forth. Of course these kind of novel and creative defenses don’t work for regular folks.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Robert by gifting him with a complimentary censure of his law license.
As we speak (ca. June 2012) Robert practices law at 9900 Mercier Street in Kansas City, Missouri.
