Attorney Veronica Donald of Alberta, CAN; ethical dwarf

The Law Society of Alberta presentedVeronica Donald with a law license in 2007 after she graduated from the University of Manitoba School of Law.

The Hearing Committee for the Law Society of Alberta found Veronica guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Improperly breached a trust condition to another lawyer
• Failed to meet the requirements of the Code of Conduct in disclosing a material error to her client

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Hearing Committee punished Veronica by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand, a $1,750.00 fine and assessed investigative costs of $3,000.00.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Veronica and her firm fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.stringam.ca.  Apparently, they decided to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting their future victim pool.
