Attorney E. Anne Benaroya of Rockville, MD; ignoramus slacker

The state of Maryland presented E. Anne Benaroya with a law license in 1991 after she graduated from Case Western University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Anne guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to abide by the scope of the representation
• Failed to provide competent representation (ignoramus)
• Agreed to represent the defendants in a lawsuit but failed to enter her appearance in the case
• Failed to file an answer or any preliminary motions on behalf of her clients
• Gross negligence led to issuing order of default against her clients

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Anne by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2022), Anne practices her so-called brand of law at 5625 Hogenhill Terrace in Rockville, Maryland.
