Attorney Michelle Marker of Castle Rock, CO; ethical misfit

The state of Colorado provided Michelle Ann Marker with a law license in 2000 after she graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law.

The Colorado State Bar found Michelle guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to inform a client in writing about her fees and expenses within a reasonable time after being retained
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Neglected to send monthly invoices to her client
• Negligently deposited client check in her operating account, which was overdrawn

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Michelle by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak, (ca. October 2022), Michelle practices her so-called brand of law with the Marker Law Office at 200 South Wilcox Street in Castle Rock, Colorado.
