Attorney John Stickels of Arlington, TX; ethical dwarf

The state of Texas provided John William Stickels with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law.

The District 6 Grievance Committee found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Neglected client appellate matter
  • Failed to correct and resubmit a writ of certiorari petition that the Supreme Court rejected for inadequacies
  • Failed to explain the legal matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit Complainant to make informed decisions regarding the representation
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the Texas Supreme Court punished Johnny gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and ordered to him pay $500.00 in investigative costs and ordered to pay $2,500.00 in restitution.

As we speak (ca. September 2022), Johnny practices his so-called brand of law with Stickels & Associates PC at 770 North Fielder Road in Arlington, Texas.
