Attorney Gregory Teeter of Corpus Christi, TX; ethical troll

The state of Texas provided Greggory Allen Teeter with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Texas School of Law.

The District 6 Grievance Committee found Greg guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Greg!)
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds’
  • Failed to promptly notify third parties with interest in settlement funds of his receipt of same
  • Failed to promptly deliver funds owing to third parties
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to comply with client information requests
  • Failed to abide by client decision regarding settlement
  • Failed to deposit and hold settlement funds in trust account
  • Failed to provide client with his file upon being terminated

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the Texas Supreme Court punished Greg by gifting him with a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2022), Greg practices his so-called brand of law at 5262 South Staples in Corpus Christi, Texas.
