Former Referee Barbara Johnson of South Bend, IN; slacker, scofflaw

The Indiana Commission on Judicial Qualifications found Barbie guilty of engaging the following misconduct.

• Improperly suspended a father’s parenting time with his minor daughter based, in part, on interview notes she received from a Guardian Ad Litem without circulating the notes to the father and his counsel or
• Failed to allow the father and his attorney to review the Guardian Ad Litem notes when they asked to do so (aka, due process)
• Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw)
• Failed to act in manner promoting public confidence in the judiciary
• Failed to perform her judicial duties fairly and impartially
• Failed to diligently perform judicial duties (slacker)
• Engaged in improper ex parte (one-sided) communications

As we speak (ca. September 2022), it is rumored that Barbie has applied for a job as greeter at the Walmart Supercenter Store at 700 West Ireland Road in South Bend, Indiana.
