Judge Gerald Johnson of Clarkesville, GA; scofflaw, loser

The Georgia Judicial Qualifications Commission found Gerry guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was sitting as Chief Magistrate Judge for the Habersham County Magistrate Court.

• After falling asleep on his wife’s birthday, a domestic dispute arose between Gerry and his wife
• Gerry’s wife placed a gun to his head and threated to kill himself
• Discharged an AR-15 outside his home in a residential neighborhood while intoxicated
• Pointed an AR-15 at a law enforcement officer acting in the lawful discharge of the officer’s official duties
• Broke the windshield of his wife’s vehicle
• Requested that a law enforcement officer turn off the officer’s recording device while he was in the process of investigating the incident
• Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw)
• Failed to respect the prestige of his judicial office

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Gerry by apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. August 2022), Gerry continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence as the Chief Magistrate Judge for the Habersham County Magistrate Court in Clarkesville, Georgia.
