Attorney Gary Pearson of Lincoln, NE; moronic slacker

The state of Nebraska presented Gary R. Pearson with a law license in 2015 after he graduated from Creighton University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Jimmy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent legal services (moron)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• After filing transcript with appellate court, Jimmy made no further appearances on his client’s behalf
• Failed to respond to appellate court order that he provide the court with a copy of the required child support worksheet that was used to determine the amount of his client’s child support obligation
• Charged and/or collected an unreasonable fee

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nebraska Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (ca. August 2022), Gary practices his so-called brand of law with the Pearson Law Office at 221 South 66^th Street in Lincoln, Nebraska.
