Attorney Keith Pope of Knoxville, TN; ethical misfit

 

The state of TennesseeprovidedKeith Allen Pope with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of Memphis School of Law.

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Keith guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Disobeyed obligation under rules of a tribunal (Up yours, said Keith!)
  • Pled guilty to violation of an Order of Protection
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Violated his bond conditions
  • Committed a criminal act that reflects adversely on his honesty, trustworthiness, or fitness as a lawyer

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Keith by gifting him with a complimentary censure. 

 

As we speak (ca. August 2022), Keith practices his so-called brand of law at 3226 Division Street in Knoxville, Tennessee.
