Attorney Alan Ramer of Miami, FL; ethical gnome

The state of Florida provided presented Alan Howard Ramer with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of Miami School of Law.

The Florida State Bar found Alan guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Repeatedly failed to timely comply with discovery requests and/or produce complete responses
  • Failed to attend court-ordered mediation
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Failed to respond to opposing counsel’s emails
  • Failed to comply with court orders (Up yours, said Alan!)
  • Failed to comply with the local rules for the Southern District Court of Florida
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of his conduct
  • Knowingly engaged in conduct that is a violation of a duty owed as a professional
  • Misconduct caused injury or potential injury to a client, the public, or the legal system

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2022), Alan practices his so-called brand of law at 10602 SW 77th Terrace in Miami, Florida.
