Prosecutor Marilyn Mosby of Baltimore, MD; scamming perjurer

The state of Maryland provided Marilyn J. Mosby a law license in 2006 after she graduated from Boston College School of Law.

Marilyn was indicated for engaging in the following criminal conduct.

  • Committed perjury
  • Filing false mortgage applications to buy two homes in Florida
  • Made false statements to withdraw money from Baltimore’s deferred compensation plan and to obtain mortgages
  • Sought a $490,500 mortgage to buy a home in Kissimmee, Florida, and a $428,400 mortgage to buy a condo in Long Boat Key, Florida
  • Falsely certified in 2020 that she was entitled to withdraw money from Baltimore’s deferred compensation plan because of coronavirus financial hardships
  • Marilyn sought withdrawals of $40,000 and $50,000 from the coronavirus fund even though she was receiving her full salary of nearly $248,000
  • Marilyn signed a second home rider in 2020 asserting that she was using the Kissimmee property as a second home, and she was not giving a management company control over the property
  • A month before signing the second home rider, however, Marilyn had signed an agreement with a vacation home management company
  • The second home rider entitled Marilyn to a lower interest rate

If found guilty, Marilyn faces a maximum of five years in prison for each of two counts of perjury and a maximum of 30 years in prison for each of two counts of making false mortgage applications.

All that’s left now is to see how long it takes for Marilyn to cop a plea to reduce the amount of time she’ll be spending at the Federal Correction Facility in Victorville, California.

As we speak (ca. July 2022), it is rumored that Marilyn has applied for a job as a greeter at the Walmart Supercenter Store located at 6420 Petrie Way in Baltimore, Maryland.
