Attorney James Marshall IV of Denver, CO; convicted felon

The state of Colorado presented James Edward Marshall IV with a law license in 2018 after she graduated the University of Colorado School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel found Jimmy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • At a protest Jimmy shot a gun through a vehicle’s side-tinted window, hitting the driver in the head
  • Committed a criminal act that reflects adversely on the lawyer’s honesty, trustworthiness, or fitness as a lawyer in other respects
  • Pled guilty to an amended count of tampering with a deceased human body, a class 3 felony

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting her with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license effective April 4, 2022.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Jimmy will resume his so-called practice of law at 1 55 Cook Street in Denver in early 2025.
