Attorney Diane Acciavatti of Wayne, NJ; cheating slacker

The state of New Jersey presented Diane Marie Acciavatti with a law license in 1984 after she graduated from University of Notre Dame School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Dianne guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

It should be noted that this wasn’t Diane’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. She previously received a complimentary admonishment for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Failed to communicate with his client
  • Billed and/or collected an unreasonable fee (cheater)
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Failed to provide client with a written statement of the outcome, and if there was a recovery, showing the remittance to the client and the method of determination

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Diane by gifting her with a complimentary 6-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Diane practices her so-called brand of law at 401 Hamburg Turnpike in Wayne, New Jersey.
