Attorney Susan Lynch of Raeford, NC; ethical troll

The state of North Carolina presented Susan M. Lynch with a law license in 2002 after she graduated from Campbell University School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Suzie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • As of date of discipline failed to pay restitution to her client
  • Engaged in acts of dishonesty, misrepresentation, deceit, or fabrication
  • Suzie has failed to pay anything on a $151,089 judgement against her by her former clients (victims)
  • Failed to advise her clients, Buyers, that it was against their financial interest to execute the warranty deed conveying a one-half interest in the Property to Seller and Turner without Buyers receiving any compensation for said transfer
  • Failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
  • Failed to exercise independent, professional judgment and render candid advice
  • Intentionally prejudiced or damaged her clients during time she represented the client
  • Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest involving two or more clients

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, Grievance Committee punished Suzie by gifting her with a complimentary 5-year suspension of her law license.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Suzie fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on her self-serving website at www.raefordlawyer.com. Apparently, she decided to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Suzie practices her so-called brand of law with Willcox McFadyen Fields & Sutherland PLLC at 112 East Edinborough Avenue in Raeford, North Carolina.
