Former Judge William Nolen of Colleyville, TX; scofflaw, loser

The state of Texas presented William Shane Nolen with a law license in 2006 after he graduated from Western State University School of Law.

The State Commission on Judicial Conduct found Billy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as 323rd District Court Judge in Tarrant County, Texas.

In one matter, Billy was a party to a suit brought by the Department of Family and Protective Services in Denton County, Texas concerning one of his children. It was alleged that during that lawsuit, Billy was uncooperative with the court and violated the court's Temporary Orders.

As a result of that alleged violation of a court order, Billy was terminated from his position as an Associate Judge in Tarrant County. The complaint in initiated by the Judicial Commission to investigate was based on published news report that Billy participated in an after-hours "poker party" in the Tarrant County Juvenile Justice Center in violation of county and city ordinances and policies.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the supporters of Judicial Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Billy fails to disclose the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.williamnolenlaw.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal said relevant facts from prospective clients to prevent limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Billy practices his so-called brand of law at 5601 Colleyville Blvd in Colleyville, Texas.
