Judge Sheldon Harris of Chicago; lying loser

The State of Illinois presented Sheldon Harris with a law license in 1966 after he graduated from the University of Illinois School of Law.

The Illinois Courts Commission is investigating Sheldon for engaging in the following misconduct.

• Improperly approached three appellate judges who ruled against his nephew to reconsider their order dismissing nephew’s appeal
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• When interviewed by ethics investigators, Sheldon lied when he denied speaking with appellate judge Mary Ann Mason about his nephew’s appeal
• Lied to ethics investigators when he said his nephew’s involvement in the appellate matter was “incidental” and did not influence his decision to reach out to the other two appellate judges
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Sheldon by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court.

It should be noted that Sheldon is retiring in December 2022, meaning he’ll be receiving an annual pension in excess of $200,000.00 a year payable for the remainder of his life. Who said being an Unethical Misfit didn’t pay well?
