Judge Clyde Black of Crockett, TX; ethical dwarf

The state of Oregon presented Conry with a law license in 1982 after she graduated from DePaul University School of Law.

The State Commission on Judicial Conduct found Clyde guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Posted a note on the Houston County Facebook page concerning Covid-19 "Stay at Home" Orders in which he announced that anyone brought before him for violating such an order and thus, potentially subject to a fine or jail time, would be released by him
  • Failed to conduct all his extra-judicial activities so that they did not cast reasonable doubt on his capacity to act impartially
  • Failed to abstain from commenting on impending proceedings that may have come before him in his judicial capacity
  • Made improper promises that led to personal believing he was predisposed to act regarding COVID-19 orders

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the supporters of Judicial Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Clyde by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. May 2022), it is rumored that Clyde has an application for a job as a janitor at the Walmart Supercenter Store located at 1225 East Loop in Crockett, Texas.
