Attorney Michael Kelly of Boston, MA; repeat offender

The state of Massachusetts presented Michael James Kelly with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from Suffolk University School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in multiple acts of misconduct
  • Victimized clients were vulnerable because they were seeking disability benefits
  • Failed to communicate adequately with a client
  • Failed to deliver client files timely to successor attorney
  • Failed to communicate with disability client for over 10 months

FYI: This wasn’t Mikey’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Mikey fails to mention the above misconduct on his self-serving website at www.nedisability.com.  Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Mikey practices his so-called brand of law with the Law Office of Michael James Kelly at 44 School Street in Boston, Massachusetts.

CAUTION: Mikey does not carry legal malpractice insurance
