Attorney Brian Roman of North Attleboro, MA; ethical troll

The state of Massachusetts presented Brian D. Roman with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Suffolk University School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Brian guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Failed to appear at court-scheduled pre-trial conference on client’s behalf
• Due to Brian’s failure to appear at pre-trial conference, the court entered a final judgment dismissing his client’s case
• Took no action to vacate the court’s dismissal of his client’s case due to his failure to attend the pre-trial conference
• The representative for the client’s estate attempted to contact Brian several times before and after the client lawsuit was dismissed and the Brain failed to respond to the personal representative
• On three occasions after the client lawsuit had been dismissed, Brian refused to claim a certified letter sent by the personal representative to him

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Brian fails to mention the above misconduct on his self-serving website at www.attorneyroman.com.  Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Brian practices his so-called brand of law with Brian D. Roman Attorney at Law at 98 One Street in North Attleboro, Massachusetts.
