Attorney Jason E. Sweet of Jamaica Plain, MA; ethical misfit

The state of Massachusetts presented Jason E. Sweet with a law license in 2007 after he graduated from Suffolk University School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Jason guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Knowingly refused to comply with the Bankruptcy Court’s discovery and contempt orders (Up yours, said Jason!)
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on his fitness to practice law
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Found in contempt and ordered to pay accrued sanctions of $24,000
• Failed to respond to discovery requests and did not seek a protective order

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Jason by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.  

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Jimmy practices his so-called brand of law at 20 Robinwood Avenue in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.
