Attorney Krishna James of Youngstown, OH; serial felon

 

The state of Ohio presented Krishna James with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from Villanova University School of Law.

 

The Mahoning County Bar Association found Krishna guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, some of which occurred in New Castle, Pennsylvania while he unlawfully entered the City’s main fire station and the balance in Girard, Ohio.

 

Criminal Charges in Pennsylvania

  • Count 1: Charged with Burglary, first-degree felony
  • Count 2: Charged with Burglary, second-degree felony
  • Count 3: Criminal Trespass – Enter Structure (fire station), third-degree felony
  • Count 4: Criminal Trespass – Enter Structure (LCCA) building), third-degree felony
  • Count 5: Criminal Trespass/Simple Trespasser (fire station), a summary offense
  • Count 6: Criminal Trespass/Simple Trespasser (LCCAP building), a summary offense
  • Count 7: Criminal Trespass/Simple Trespasser (fire station), a summary offense
  • Count 8: Criminal Trespass/Simple Trespasser (LCCAP), a summary offense
  • Count 9: Firearms Discharge Prohibited, a violation of New Castle city ordinances
  • Count 10: Firearms Discharge Prohibited, a violation of New Castle city ordinances

Criminal Charges in Ohio

  • Girard City Police Department in Trumbull County, Ohio, responded to a call of a male suspect in the woods behind a cemetery
  • After arrival at cemetery, spotted Krishna’s car which appeared to be stuck on a log
  • Krishna was observed “bending small trees into the ground and interlocking them”
  • Krishna refused officers’ request he come up a hill to their location, and he was the arrested for criminal trespass
  • Krishna told the officers he did not consent to any search of his vehicle; however, department policy required a search since his car was being towed
  • The search located two small bags of suspected methamphetamine, as well as a buprenorphine/naloxone strip
  • A criminal trespass charge was filed in Girard Municipal Court; however, Krishna failed to appear for arraignment, and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest
  • Subsequently convicted of one count of disorderly conduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Ohio Supreme Court punished Jason by gifting him with a complimentary interim remedial suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Krishna is presently incarcerated in the Lawrence County Jail in New Castle, Pennsylvania, on multiple felony and misdemeanor criminal charges resulting from a course of conduct in which he engaged on January 1, 2022.
