Attorney Alec Nolan of New York City; scamming loser

The state of New York presented Alec Hassard Nolan with a law license in 2014 after he graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.

The First Department Grievance Committee found Alec guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Fabricated two doctors’ notes
• Forged a doctor’s signature on a note
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Alec by gifting him with a complimentary censure. 

Because Attorney Misfits in New York are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Alec was never criminally charged with forgery.
