Attorney Edward M. DiCato of Green, OH; potty mouth loser  
The state of Ohio presented Edward Michael DiCato with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Akron Law School.
The Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline of the Ohio Supreme Court found Edward guilty of the following misconduct based on a complaint filed by the Akron Bar Association.
While speaking with Judge Margaret Rowlands’ bailiff about fee applications that were awaiting the judge’s approval DiCato called the judge a “lying, cheating bitch.” As a consequence of his comments, Judge Rowlands issued a show cause hearing to determine why DiCato shouldn’t be held in contempt of court.
In a lame effort at levity, DiCato tried to resolve the matter with Judge Rowlands by sending her a letter offering an explanation of his conduct. In his letter, DiCato state, “We are even on the same team as democrats and I should be supporting you, which I would certainly like to do.”
Subsequently DiCato pleaded guilty to criminal contempt. He laughingly defended his action by claiming it was the result of him taking oxycodone for a medical condition. That’s what we all do when we’re taking pain medications; we call anyone we’re in disagreement with a “lying, cheating bitch.” DiCato obviously missed his calling as a standup comedian!
The court sentenced DiCato to 48 hours in the Summit County Jail, which was suspended on the condition that he refrains from similar conduct in the future. He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Edward by gifting him with a complimentary six-month stayed suspension of his law license. In truth, Eddie didn’t receive any punishment at all.
As we speak (ca. May 2012) Edward continues to practice law in the Green, Ohio area.
