Attorney Jason Smith of Seymour, IN; ethical misfit

The state of Indiana provided Jason Michael Smith with a law license in 2006 after he graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Jason guilty of the following misconduct.

• Knowingly made a false statement with reckless disregard as to its truth or falsity concerning the qualifications or integrity of a judge

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Jason by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (ca. May 2022), Jason practices his so-called brand of law with the Smith Law Services PC at 121 North Chestnut Street in Seymour, Indiana.
