Attorney John Horenstein of Plainview, NY; thieving scammer

The state of New York presented John David Horenstein with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the Brooklyn School of Law.

The First Department Grievance Committee found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Misappropriated (stole) funds from a client of his law firm by way of false billing
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Intentionally misappropriated [stole] funds
  • Falsified bank records
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Submitted misleading letter to ethics investigators (Screw you, said Johnny!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Johnny practices his so-called brand of law at 37 Robin Lane in Plainview, New York.
