The state of Arizona presented Barbara Julia Luther with a law license in 2004 after she graduated from DePaul University School of Law.

The Arizona State Bar found Barbie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide legal services to client after being paid to conduct a trademark search and review
• Failed to communicate with clients about the status of their matters
• Failed to inform her clients that she was closing her law practice
• Failed to timely refund advanced fees that she had not earned
• Failed to safeguard client funds

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Barbie by gifting her with a complimentary admonishment.
