► Rep. Jim Banks (IN): Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield Comic” Award Winner

Jimmy duped the voters in the greater Fort Wayne area to elect him as member of the U.S. House of Representative in November 2016.

Recently (ca. April 2022), the U.S. House of Representatives voted to hold former White House aides Dan Scavino and Peter Navarro in criminal contempt for their decision to thumb their collective noses at subpoena’s issued to them regarding the ongoing House January 6 committee’s investigation of the attempt to overthrow the government via an attempt to prevent the electoral vote being certified for Joe Biden.

In an ongoing attempt to further cement his status as a dyed-in-the-wool Trump Ass-Kissing Sycophant, Jimmy decided to attack the House’s criminal contempt vote. In doing so, Jimmy made the following statements.

• “So please let’s be honest with ourselves.”
• A vote to hold Dan Scavino and Peter Navarro in contempt of Congress is a vote to put them in jail—for a year.”
• “Neither of these men deserve this.”
• “The party line isn’t a good enough excuse today. Disliking their politics isn’t an excuse.”
• “You know, Mr. Scavino has two boys. He’s a good dad. He doesn’t deserve this; his boys definitely don’t deserve this.”
• “So before we vote today, I’ve got to ask: Could anyone here explain to those boys why their dad deserves to be behind bars for a year.”

Hey Jimmy Baby, if one of your constituents in Fort Wayne was issued a subpoena by Allen County Superior Court Judge David Avery, he/she would be the recipient of an arrest warrant and charged with criminal contempt. Apparently, in Jimmy’s demented and biased mind, government officials must be held to a much lower standard of conduct then the constituents he claims to represent.

And lastly Jimmy, as to explaining to Scavino’s boys why their Daddy deserves to spend a year in jail, I’d tell them that their Daddy knowingly and intentionally violated the law. Put simply, Daddy is a willing and apparently proud Scofflaw.

Lastly, in the event the voters in the greater Fort Wayne area decide to tell Jimmy to take a hike in the upcoming November 2022 election, he shouldn’t have any problem knocking down a job as a Standup Comedian at the Summit City Comedy Club on Joe Street in Fort Wayne.

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Jimmy continues to embarrass a good portion of his constituents by engaging in this type of behavior.
