Attorney Fred Williams of Durham, NC; convicted druggie

The state of North Carolina presented Fred J. Williams with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Freddy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Pled guilty to felony count of possession of cocaine
• Pled guilty to misdemeanor count of marijuana possession
• Pled guilty to misdemeanor count of carrying a concealed weapon
• Committed criminal acts adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, Grievance Committee punished Freddy with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2022), Eddie practices his so-called brand of law in Durham, North Carolina.
