Attorney Michael Said of Des Moines, IA; cheating slacker

The state of Iowa presented Michael H. Said with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Mercer University of Iowa School of Law.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (dimwit)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Charged unreasonable fees (cheater)
  • Failed to adequately communicate with his client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Mikey fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.saidlaw.com. Apparently, Mikey decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. April 2022), Mikey practices his so-called brand of law with the Law Offices of Michael H. Said PC at 1201 63rd Street in Des Moines, Iowa.
