Attorney Salvatore Lanza of Fulton, NY; ethical misfit

The State of New York presented Salvatore F. Lanza with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the Fifth Judicial District found Sal guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Made improper statements on social media related to his representation of a party to a Family Court proceeding
  • Improperly disclosed certain details regarding sexual misconduct visited upon a minor child on a social media platform
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Used means in representing a client that had no substantial purpose other than to harm or embarrass a third party

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Sal by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. April 2022), Sal practices his so-called brand of law at 154 South 2nd Street in Fulton, New York.
