Attorney Jana Lee DeLoach of Akron; moronic liar 
The state of Ohio presented Jana Lee DeLoach with a law license in 1999 after she graduated from the University of Akron Law School.
The Board on Grievances and Discipline of the Ohio Supreme Court found Jana guilty of the following misconduct.
Jana was appointed to represent a client on his appeal to the Court of Appeals in Cleveland following his conviction for aggravated burglary. In order to have the filing fee for an Appeal waived by the Court, a notarized affidavit of indingency along with a statement from the prison regarding the inmate’s financial account must be filed with the court.
Jana the Dumbo filed the motion to waive the fee but never submitted the required affidavit and prison financial statement. As a result of Jana’s gross negligence, the Court of Appeals dismissed her client’s (victim’s) appeal.
Subsequently, the Akron Bar Association received a written grievance from the client. During the investigation Dana told the investigator that she had sent several letters to her client about his need to prepare an affidavit of indingency and t o obtain information about his finances at the prison.
When the investigator asked Jana for copies of the letters, she e-mailed copies to him in Microsoft word format. The investigator expected he would receive hard copies of the Jana letters. The investigator became suspicious when the metadata indicated that the letters had been created at the Akron Law Library the same day he received them.
Jana the Dumbo’s False Defense to Fabricating Letters to Client
The investigator questioned Jana about this. She misrepresented (lied) that she had found the paper copies but went ahead and retyped the letters so she could get them to the investigator more quickly. Hopefully the day will come when fax machines and/or scanners are finally made available to the consuming public in Akron.
The investigator found Jana’s response implausible since she could have driven to any copy center and faxed the originals instead of driving from her home to the Akron Law Library to retype and e-mail the letters. Not only is Jana a Moronic Liar she’s also a lousy comedian.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Jana by gifting her with a complimentary six-month stayed suspension of her law license. In truth, Jana Lee received absolutely no punishment of any kind.
As we speak (ca. May 2012) Jana continues to practice law in the Akron area.
