Judge Alexis Krot of Hamtramck, MI; ethical gremlin

The state of Michigan presented Alexis Grace Krot with a law license after in 2003 after she graduated from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans.

It should be noted that former Gov. Rick Snyder was duped into appointing Alexis as a 31^st District Court Judge in Hamtramck. Alexis didn’t receive the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the greater Hamtramck area. She received it because she had proven to be a reliable lack

• Alexis found it acceptable to berate a 72-year-old cancer patient for failing to maintain his lawn to her satisfaction
• Stated she would send the man to jail if she could
• Imposed a $100 fine on the elderly cancer patient
• The man’s son told Alexis he was too weak to care for the lawn

Alexis responded by saying the following.

• “Do you see that photo?
• That is shameful. Shameful!”
• “The neighbors should not have to look at that.”
• “You should be ashamed of yourself.”
