Attorney Ryan Manilla of Ontario, CAN; ethical goblin

The Law Society of Upper Canada presentedRyan Jesse Manilla with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the University of Ottawa School of Law.

The Disciplinary Hearing Panel for the Law Society of Ontario found Ryan guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Acted contrary to the rules in his handling of five separate documents, all of which were in the nature of sworn evidence
• Signed client’s name on Impugned Documents without such client’s knowledge or consent
• Purported to act as the Commissioner of Oaths with respect to the Impugned Documents, notwithstanding the fact that he knew that Client A had not sworn such documents

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee of the Law Society of Upper Canada punished Ryan by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license and ordered to pay costs of $18,084.00.

As we speak (ca. March 2022), Ryan practices his so-called brand of law with the Legal Solutions Law Firm at 300-10 Milner Business Court in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada.
