Attorney Jerry Nesker of Toronto, CAN; ethical troll

The Law Society of Upper Canada presentedJerry Michael Nesker with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the University of Ottawa School of Law.

The Disciplinary Hearing Panel for the Law Society of Ontario found Jerry guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Knowingly encouraged, assisted, or facilitated dishonesty by his client
• Allowed client to use his trust account to receive money from abroad, thereby circumventing decisions by Canadian banks to disallow the client from receiving money from abroad through them
• Took actions that he ought to have known would encourage, assist, or facilitate dishonesty by his client
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Committed professional misconduct
• Mishandled the sum of $504,637.08, which he held in his trust account for a client
• Failed to serve and protect the interests of his client by acting upon inappropriate instructions

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Jerry by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Committee.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Jerry and his firm fail to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.ynlclaw.com. Apparently, they chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting their future victim pool.
